Innovating the World of Work
Humanizing the Workplace
Some things should be left alone. They are as perfect today as they were when they were first made - whether by (wo)man, by Mother Nature, or by our favorite higher-power. It's a good thing, though, that we like to tinker. Because there's a lot of tinkering to be had.
The 'world of work' needs...well, work. In spite of the human race's relentless pursuit of "better," I am amazed by how very little the workplace has changed over the last century...or two. If you look at those dynamics employees seem to hate the most - exclusive hierarchy, up-or-out, command and control, the apprenticeship model - they're all relics from a past industrial and mechanical age. Yet those relics remain in full force.
I'm focused on building something - a tool, a technology, a communal platform - that is largely about removing those relics. Obliterating them, in fact. As that platform materializes, I can't wait to share it with you. Because it's exciting...you'll want to be part of it...and it's long long overdue.
Stay tuned!
